Damon Lockhart

Damon joined the DMEA Board of Directors in 2017. He has served as DMEA’s representative to the Colorado Rural Electric Association Board since 2020. He holds Credential Cooperative Director, Board Leadership Certification, and Director Gold certifications from the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. Damon has a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Economics from Western Colorado University and a Master of Arts in Special Education from New Mexico State University. He is a retired schoolteacher, coach, and administrator in New Mexico and Colorado, and has served in a leadership position with The Arc of Colorado.
